WINS project in Govt Schools
Sanitary pads distribution drive was conducted for students at Govt. Model Senior Secondary School, RC1,Maloya, Govt. Model Senior Secondary School, Maloya Village, Govt. Model High School, RC1 Maloya By Rotarian Ms. Manjula and her team of 4 volunteers on 26th July, 2023 from 09:00am to 02:00 pm. A recapitulatory session on menstrual cycle onset and menstrual hygiene management was held for 920 girl students and 717 packets of pads were distributed to those who required to cater to the need for the month of July. The girls were very inquisitive and enquired about various issues around the same which were effectively resolved by the accompanying volunteers. Along with that various taboos around menstruation were also addressed by the team. It was requested in various schools requested for fresh sessions on Menstrual Hygiene management for news girls enrolled ..
