World Adolescents Day
Rotary Club Chandigarh celebrated, ADOLOSCENT DAY. Blood tests were conducted on 18 adolescent girls. A seminar was conducted for the girls group by interns from AIMS, Mohali, in which awareness was spread regarding the recommended hand washing practice, Importance of Deworming and Diet to be taken in Iron Deficiency Anemia . The role of a dozen village girls, on giving free help at the dispensary and to the ill in the village, was highly appreciated and applauded. Interns from AIMS Mohali distributed deworming medicine in the village. Today was also the WORLD DEWORMING DAY. On behalf of the Rotary Club of Chandigarh, two dozen drawing books and crayon boxes were distributed to children. Equal number of adoloscent girls were given Sanitary Napkins.
