INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION-PAINTING COMPETITION-KASTURBA GANDHI BALIKA ASHRAM
On the occasion of 77th Independence day Rotary Club Shimla visited Kasturba Gandhi Balika Ashram at Durgapur.Flag hoisting and National Anthem was rendered. A painting competition was organized based on the theme of Independent India. Children participated with full enthusiasm.6 Prizes in two age group categories were distributed.Chips, Crayons, Tooth brushes and paste, Gifts for painting competition, Ice Cream and socks were distributed to the children. Members present were:President Rtn Amit pal Sood,PP Rtn Sachin Verma,PP Rtn Manu Aggarwal,Rtn Sushil Thakur,Rtn Nikhil Bhagra,Secretary Rtn Karan Bamba.
