WINS project at Government schools
Sanitary pads distribution drive was conducted for students at Government senior secondary school, khuda Lahora and Government model school, RC1, Dhanas by Rotarian Ms. Manjula and her team of 4 volunteers on 3rd August, 2023 from 11:00am to 02:00pm.
A total of 390 packets of sanitary pads were distributed among 390 girls, to cater for their needs of month of August. A recapitulatory session on menstrual cycle onset and menstrual hygiene management was also held. The girls were very inquisitive and enquired about various issues around the same which were effectively resolved by the accompanying volunteers. The washrooms in school facility were also examined by the visiting team. Requirement for dustbins was raised by Government model school, RC1, Dhanas.
