WINS project in Government schools
WASH sessions were conducted for students at the Govt. Model Sr. Sec. School Sec 38/w Chandigarh on the 21stJuly, 2023 by Rtn. Ms. Manjula and her team of 4 facilitators. These sessions were held for 347 Students present from classes 1st to 10th. in the morning(9am-12:30pm) and evening(2pm-5:30pm) shifts to cover all the students. Five separate sessions were held for the students to instill the sensitivity towards clean water consumption, personal hygiene, toilet habits and sanitation practices according to their level of understanding. To make these sessions more effective and all the more interesting special props like placards were used along with practical demonstration of handwashing and oral hygiene techniques. The students were really enthralled and inquisitive about the information .
