WINS project at Government schools
On 21st. August,2023 Sanitary Pads Distribution Drive was conducted for students at by Rotarian Ms. Manjula and her team of 4 volunteers in Government Middle School, Sector-45, Burail.A total of 55 packets of sanitary pads were distributed among 120 girls, to cater for their needs of month of August. A recapitulatory session on menstrual cycle onset and menstrual hygiene management was also held. The girls were very inquisitive and enquired about various issues around the same which were effectively resolved by the accompanying volunteers. The washrooms in school facility were also examined by the visiting team. Requirement for soaps for washing hands for children was raised
