WIN project at Government schools
By Rotarian Ms. Manjula and her team of 4 volunteers on 23rd August, 2023 from 09:30am to 02:00pm. A total of 560 packets of sanitary pads were distributed among 720 girls, to cater for their needs of month of August. A recapitulatory session on menstrual cycle onset and menstrual hygiene management was also held. The girls were very inquisitive and enquired about various issues around the same which were effectively resolved by the accompanying volunteers. Various taboos around menstruation were also shattered by the team. The faculty at Govt. model high school, RC-2, Maloya requested for a special session for sensitisation of boys
