WINS project at Government schools
WASH sessions were conducted for students at the Govt. Model Sr. Sec. School Raipur Kalan Chandigarh facilitated by Rotarian Ms. Manjula and her team of 3 facilitators. These sessions were done for 841 Students present from classes 6th to 10th as this school.6 separate sessions were done for the students to instil the sensitivity towards clean water consumption, personal hygiene, toilet habits, misuse of government property and sanitation practices according to their level of understanding. To make these sessions more effective and all the more interesting special props like placards were used along with practical demonstration of handwashing and oral hygiene techniques. The students were really enthralled and inquisitive about the information provided to them and very actively participated in the sessions through lively interaction and sharing their personal point of view.
