Blood Donation Camp
The first day of the new Rotary Year saw the first event, Blood Donation Camp, being organized at the Blood Resource Centre, Sector 37, Chandigarh by Team 2023-24 led by President Anil Chadda in association with ICAI, Chandigarh branch at 10am on 1st July, 2023. There was a noticeable buzz while the preparations were done at the venue by Dr Manish Rai and the staff. President Anil Chadda, Rtn Teena Virk Director Community Services and Rtn Col Alok Batra. The event was graced by PDG Madhukar Malhotra, PDG Praveen C Goyal, AG Zone 5 Rtn Sanjeev Checker and Add Distt Sec Blood Donation Rtn Naveen Gupta. The camp was inaugurated by President Anil Chadda and was well attended by 30 rotarians and some Rotractors. News papers covered the event for blood donation. A total of 30 units of blood were collected during the camp. Fellowship tea was laid out was hosted by President Anil Chadda.
