Sanitary pads distribution drive was conducted for students at following government schools at Govt Model High School Mauli jagra and Govt Model Senior secondary school Raipur Khurd By Rotarian Ms. Manjula and her team of 4 volunteers on 6th September, 2023 from 09:30am to 02:00pm.A total of 600 packets of sanitary pads were distributed among 490 girls, to cater for their needs of month of September. A recapitulatory session on menstrual cycle onset and menstrual hygiene management was also held. The girls were very inquisitive and enquired about various issues around the same which were effectively resolved by the accompanying volunteers.Various taboos around menstruation were also shattered by the team. The washrooms in school facility were also examined by the visiting team.
