BLOOD DONATION, ORGAN DONATION, HEALTH CHECK CAMP ON GANDHI JAYANTI
On Gandhi Jayanti, Rotary Club Shimla organised a Blood donation camp at Rotary Townhall. Along with this RC Shimla in association with the Health Department, Shimla also organised a Health Camp under Ayushmaan Bhavah Campaign where Health Screening,Pledge for Organ Donation and ABHA ID’s Were generated. 125 Abha Id’s were generated.Doctors and Asha workers from health department were present for scanning and creating Abha IDS , conducting Blood Sugar and Blood Pressure checks.CMO Shimla Smt Surekha Chopra was the Chief Guest on this ocassion.55 blood units were collected and Blood Donors were given certificates and momentoes from RCS.CMO and the Entire team of Doctors from KNH were felicitated with momentoes.Rotaractors from GDC and Wakhnaghat were also present as volunteers.Members of RCS participated with a great enthusiasm. Lunch was also organised for everyone courtesy RCS.
