Mega Medical Camp
Rcs Hill Queens today held a Mega Medical Camp at the Business Promotion Center in Shoghi Industrial Area.
The camp was held in association with the Industrial Area Development Association of Shoghi Industrial Area.
The camp was inaugurated by Sh. Yogesh Gupta, GM, District Industries Center. Yogesh Ji was instrumental in providing us with the venue for the camp and extending his whole hearted support in our endeavor.
Specialists from Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital and HP Government Dental College and Hospital held a mammoth OPD for 6 hours. The specialties covered were:
1. Dermatology by Dr. Ghanshyam Verma
2. General Surgery by Dr. Puneet Mahajan
3. Gynecology by Dr. Nishi Sood
4. General Medicine by Dr. Harish Sharma
5. ENT by Dr. Aavishkar
6. Ophthalmology by Dr. Aarushi
7. Dental by Dr. Shailja and Dr. Bhupender along with 8 PG students and mobile dental van.
8. Eye Testing facility by Shimla Opticals
A whopping 550 registrations were done for all the specialties which were manned by 22 members of our club present for the camp.
IPDG VP Kalta and AG Zone -1 CA Rohit Karol graced the camp with their presence and also worked wholeheartedly throughout the camp.
Apart from the camp the following facilities were also provided to the patients free of cost
1. 16 Wheelchairs
2. 11 Walking Sticks
3. 2 Shelter Kits
4. 93 Spectacles with numbered lenses
5. Medicines to all registrants
We are proud to announce that the stock of medicines kept for free distribution to needy patients could not be exhausted and 3 boxes full of medicines had to be returned to the supplier.
