GENERAL AND MENTAL HEALTH PROGRAMME
Rotary club of Chandigarh started a programme on General and Mental Health wherein team from our club consisting of Director community Services , Rtn. Teena Virk, President Rtn. Anil Chadda , Club Secretary Rtn. Alok Batra, President Elect Rtn. Jatinder Kapur, PP Rtn. Vijay Wadhawn, PP Rtn. Neena Singh, Rtn. Dr Roma Uppal, Rtn. Prem Mahendru along with two volunteers visited the Senior Citizens Home, Sector 15 and A heart warming experience to meet the inmates. Mostly an upbeat mood prevails amongst the residents. A few need more attention, medically, linguistically and emotionally. Ten of us gathered to talk and laugh with the residents. They are 37 in all. 16 men and 21 ladies. Fruit packets worth Rs. 6,000/- were made available by our President Anil ji on behalf of our club , who was kind enough to look after all required permissions too.
