E-WASTE MANAGEMENT- INSTALLATION OF E-WASTE BOX AT COLLECTION CENTRE ROTARY TOWNHALL AND HOTEL GREENLAND SHIMLA
A day of a milestone had been achieved by Rotary Club Shimla. In association with Karo Sambhav organisation RCS launched its signature project of E-Waste Management being the First E-Waste Management Project in Himachal. Prior to the launch E-Waste awareness and collection campaign was carried out in the town by distributing Flyers and Newspaper Inserts.Honble Chairman State Pollution Control Board Govt of H.P , Sh. Sanjay Gupta Ji (IAS) was the Chief guest on this launch. Members of RCS along with AG Zone 1 Distt 3080 Rtn Rohit Karol attended and donated their E-Waste.Representatives from Press and Electronic Media were present.PE Rtn Saurabh Raj Sood delivered a highly knowledgeable presentation on E-Waste.E-Waste Collection centres at Rotary Townhall and at Hotel Greenland have been installed.
