Healthy School Camp
A unique Healthy School Campaign was launched today by Rotary Club Solan at Government Senior Secondary School Kotla Machiveer Solan. Club gifted 20 desk cum benches to the school. A team of medical experts from MMU Solan comprising of Dr Bharati Kawatra Dean Academics,Dr Shikha Dental Surgeon and Dr Sanjeev Uppal , Plastic Surgeon conducted workshops on Breast cancer awareness and self examination , First aid and road safety and Dental Hygiene. 100 students and 9 teachers participated in this event. President Mr M P Kanwar announced scholarships for students of the school . Dr Bhuvnesh Vijay, project director thanked all .An amount of 5100 was given for the general development of the school. Other rotarians who participated were Mr Suraj Gupta ,Mr Bhanu Sharma ,Mr SK Bharati ,Mr BC Sehgal and Mr Mahesh Gambhir.
