Umbrella Distribution to street vendors
In India, most of the vendors rin their houses by selling goods on roads and temperature is rising continually due to the summer season. Hence, Rotary Club Ambala Central has distributed 6 feet round big umbrellas to the streets vendors including fruit seller, vegetable sellers and cobblers. The purpose of this project is to provide shelter to theses street vendors from the heat and rain. Under this project both big(6 feet) and small(24") size umbrellas are being distributed. This Project was launched by our District Governor Rtn Arun Mongia. The idea for distribution of small umbrellas was initiated by our senior Rotarian CA O.P. Mongia.
