Childrens Day celebration
Rotary Club Solan celebrated Childrens Day at Durga Public School on14th November 2023. Nearly 150 students from various schools participated. There were painting competition,marathon,walkathon &fancy dress .Mrs Kavita Thakur, SDM Solan gave away the prizes. Mr Chaman Sharma an artist of international fame was the judge. Mr MP Kanwar, President Rotary Solan told that this will develope overall personality of children. Mr Praveen Gupta project chairman told that Rotary Solan is determined to make our generation next as good human beings. Dr Sanjeev Uppal, secretary told that students brought out their feelings about better environment through paintings. Rtn I D Setya, 82, won the super senior walkathon while Rtn S D Rattan 72 won the seniors walkathon . Other Rotarians present were B C Sehgal , Bhanu Sharma, Raman Sharma , Kartik Sood , Dr Bhuvnesh Vijay and Dr Rakesh Prabhakar .
