WORLD DIABETES DAY CELEBRATED ON 14TH NOVEMBER
14th November was ?World Diabetes Day? and India is fast becoming the Diabetic capital of the world with more and more people suffering from it and also having complications because of it especially related to eye (It is one of the leading causes of irreversible vision damage). To create awareness regarding Diabetes and also the complications associated with it if left unchecked a free eye examination camp was organized at Parmar Hospital for all patients with Diabetes who registered for the medical OPD. Around 35 patients had a comprehensive retinal examination done and they were also educated regarding the importance of keeping Diabetes under control.
