NATIONAL PRESS DAY
16th November was NATIONAL PRESS DAY A day observed every year since 1966 to celebrate
the importance of a free and responsible press in a democratic society. We had invited two eminent
journalists of our city to the meeting - Mr. Bahadurjit (President Press Club) who is associated with
Royal Patiala and Mr. Satnam singh Satti (General Secretary of Press Club) who is associated
with Ajit. Both of them gave a brief history of their journalist journey and also talked about the
problems faced by our press. It was an insightful meeting and we are thankful to them for sharing
their experiences.
