LONELINESS AMONGST SENIOR CITIZENS
Another milestone achieved by Rotary Club of Chandigarh in its continued campaign to eliminate loneliness amongst senior citizens when 29 inmates, including caregivers and officials, of the Senior Citizens Home, Sector 15 were invited to The Aroma Hotel, Sector 22,Chandigarh on 12th. December,2023. The move was initiated by members of General and Mental Health Committee of Rotary Club of Chandigarh under the chairmanship of PP Vijay Wadhawan. The program began with a welcoming speech by President Anil Chaada. Rtn Nidhi with chanting of Om and Bhajans followed by tips on relaxation. Thereafter Dr G P Malik took over giving them physical and mental health tips and regaled them with Hindi songs popular in the 70s & 80s.
