WASH IN GOVT SCHOOLS
Under the WASH project at Government Model High School, Sec-38(W), Chandigarh a Pads Distribution Drive was done amongst 160 girls students in the presence of Principal Palwinder Kaur and coordinator Ravi Verma . The facilitators are Mr. Vishrut Jain and Ms. Gurvinder Kaur. We conducted a precopulatory session on menstrual cycle onset and menstrual hygiene management. We successfully dispelled various taboos surrounding menstruation. The students expressed that our monthly visits have boosted their confidence, and they now raise awareness about menstruation in their communities.
