WASH IN GOVT SCHOOLS
Wash (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) Session was conducted at GMSSS Sec – 39/C Chandigarh by Mr. Inder, Mr. Vishrut, Mr. Mohit Kaushal, Ms. Gurwinder Kaur, Ms. Rimpi wherein 1167 students participated in the presence of Principal Sangeeta Chabra and coordinator Navneeta Kaur. 11 separate sessions were held for the students to instil the sensitivity towards clean water consumption, personal hygiene, toilet habits and sanitation practices according to their level of understanding. To make these sessions more effective and all the more interesting special props like placards were used along with practical demonstration of handwashing and oral hygiene techniques. Principal Mrs. Sangeeta Chhabra and the teacher coordinating Mrs. Navneet Kaur really appreciated the efforts of the Rotarian Manjula Sularia and her team towards sensitizing the students.
