WASH IN GOVT SCHOOLS
Wash (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) Session were conducted by Mr. Inder, Mr. Vishrut, Ms. Gurwinder Kaur, Ms. Prince, Mr. Happy, Ms. Manjinder Kaur in GMSSS Karsan, Ramdarbar Chandigarh in the presence of Mrs Sangeeta Gultai and coordinator Mrs. Anjula where in 154 students participated. 5 separate sessions were held for the students to instil the sensitivity towards clean water consumption, personal hygiene, toilet habits and sanitation practices according to their level of understanding. To make these sessions more effective and all the more interesting special props like placards were used along with practical demonstration of handwashing and oral hygiene techniques. The team also inspected the toilet facility at the school premises and the same was found to be up to the mark.
