WASH IN GOVT SCHOOLS
Rotary club chandigarh conducted conducted a session on menstrual cycle onset, menstrual hygiene management and gender sensitisation. The anatomy of the female reproductive system was imparted in the most scientific manner for effective understanding of the onset of menstrual cycle in Government Model Senior Secondary School Sector- 16 U.T Chandigarh in the presence of Principal: Mrs. Bhavneet Kaur and Coordinator: Mrs. Anju Sharma wherein 443 studenets participated. 300 pads were distributed amongst the girls students . Girls were educated about proper and safe disposal of sanitary pads. Boys also shared their adolescence problems and raised many questions which were effectively answered.
