BLOOD DONATION CAMP
On 26th of December 2023, a Blood Donation Camp was organised by Rotary club Chandigarh in association with the management of Steel Strips Wheels Ltd in their office at Sector 26, Chandigarh wherein 45 employees of Steel Strips participated. 40 units of blood was collected with 5 rejections. On a request by Rtn. Teena Virk, Director Community Services, Rtn. Mr. Sushil Gupta referred us to them and Mr. Virender, a senior manager at Steel Strips, looked after the coordination with us since. While our club took care of the snacks arrangement for donors, Tea and Lunch was courtesy Steel Strips. Senior management of Steel Strips encouraged the donors. Dr. Manish Rai, Chair Blood Resource Centre Committee worked to perfection with full support from Rtn. Arun Aggarwal.
