TRAFFIC AWARENESS PROGRAMME
RCS in collaboration with Chandigarh Police carried & continued active traffic “Awareness Programme” for the Children. This was done by means of a talk, presentation & live demonstration & settings. It was conducted on 01 Dec. 23 at Govt. Model Sr. Secondary School, Sector 20 from 12 0’ clock pm onwards.Chandigarh traffic police staff briefed & spoke to the gathering of students, teachers & staff. Safety & precautionary measures, wearing of helmets, speed, challans & fines et all was covered. In case of mishaps actions to be taken was informed to all. Diligently crossing of roads, cycle tracks & pedestrian paths was elaborated to everyone. The response of young children was evident from the questions & the answering of impromptu questions & skits. All members & children carried placards of “Lane Driving is safe Driving”. Various traffic signs & boards on roads were explained.
