Celebrations of Mother language day
UNESCO declared 21st February as mother language day in 1999 as our mother tongue
helps us to stay connected to our traditional, cultural values and our roots. We celebrated this
21st Feb 2024 day at Genius international school where we organized a declamation contest
for students. Prof Nirmal Singh (Retired from Punjabi deptt of Govt College , Ropar)
was the chief guest. It was great listening to the views of children and we are very thankful to
Rtn Bhupinder Singh and Rtn Gurpreet Mathur for arranging everything in such a
meticulous manner.
