PROJECT CANCER SCREENING & TREATMENT
Cancer screening was organized on 16th Jan 24 at Don Bosco Navjivan Society for ladies with special emphasis on cervical & allied areas. A total of 40 ladies were screened & follow up measures cum precautions conducted. This projectwas organized by our Dir. Community service, PP Manjit Kaur. It was under aegis of Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital, New Chandigarh (Punjab) and assisted by “Sahayata”. A total of 36 women were referred for further treatment at this hospital. 2. A very meaningful & effective cancer detection & treatment under the experts is bound to improve the quality of life of these women. The in-charge wrote to RCS a Long-mailed letter expressing adulations on this wonderful humanitarian project.
