Blood Donation Camp on Shaheedi Diwas
On Martyrs Day, commemorating Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Shaheed Rajguru, and Shaheed Sukhdev, a blood donation camp was held on March 23, 2024. Hosted by Rotary Club Ropar Central and in collaboration with the District Youth Clubs Coordination Committee, Ropar, the event saw a remarkable turnout. A total of 108 units of blood were generously donated by community members, honoring the sacrifice of these national heroes. The camp served as a poignant tribute to their courage and selflessness, emphasizing the enduring spirit of unity and service in society. Notably, Rtn. Ajmer Singh, President of Rotary Club Ropar Central, marked a significant milestone by making his 25th blood donation at the camp, exemplifying unwavering dedication to humanitarian causes and inspiring others to follow suit in giving back to the community.
